From the moment we stepped out of the taxi through the front door, we were greeted by the friendliest staff that went out of their way to please us. Communication with the hotel via the booking messages was very efficient and the responsive office always replied within half an hour. The room was comfortable and suited our needs. We must emphasize that the windows/doors are very well insulated and do a great job, so you are totally unaware of the noise from the streets below you. The tasty breakfast is served in the small but cozy dining room, and the staff will make eggs to your liking plus add a nice cup of Vietnamese ice coffee or ice tea with fruit. The hotel is in a great location to if you want to stay in the old city. Once again, we wish to note the staff, whether if it was asking how your day was, rushing to open the door, or handing you an umbrella when it was raining.

The staff at the reception and the gentleman at the door were very friendly and helpful. Helping us with the luggage, booking a Grab taxi to go to the AEON mall, giving us information where to buy a good wok frying pan. The rooms were next to each other on the same 6th floor. There was a small French balcony with the room, but it is not suitable for sitting or standing outside! The location of the hotel is very central, close to the street vendors, night market and all the street food places. At night the streets transform...crowds and live music. During the day it is a lively market with fresh goods just around the corner. The breakfast room is very cosy and nicely decorated. A nice breakfast was served with additional options to choose from a la carte, we really liked the ginger lemon tea.

Staying here was a highlight of our trip to Vietnam! The hotel is perfectly located in the old quarter- close enough to everything but a little off from the main hustle and bustle. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stays Jenny especially was so attentive and accommodating. The rooms are small but very comfortable and stocked with everything you need- including robes, slippers, water, and bathroom amenities. The included breakfast had everything we needed- you can order a la cart dishes like scrambled eggs or an omelet, and there was fruit, yogurt, coffee, etc. For the price, this is an incredible value overall. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Hanoi!

We were originally to stay at the allure but it was closed for the Vietnamese new year. They informed us well in advance and transferred our booking to their group hotel Tirant. It was just 2 -3 minutes away. And my review is about Tirant. And the location of both the properties was at the heart of the old quarter in Hanoi full of ambienece and street food. The staff were excellent. Some staff I specifically remember are Chester in the restaurant, Ever smiling chef Phu behind the live service counter and Don at the reception. The staff all went above and beyond our expectations and gave us all sorts of service and help, at times those not even part of the hotel services.

A special mention for 'Rose' on reception, who went above and beyond being helpful on every aspect of our stay. All the staff were exceptional. Room was a little small but adequate. Had a lovely stay and location was right in the heart of the Old Town, 100m from 'Beer Street'. Restaurant only done breakfast which we had pre-paid for. It did not disappoint. Eggs were always done fresh and no matter what time, everything seemed freshly done. No Complaints at all. Noise was very minimal considering where we were. Once the balcony door was closed, it was very quiet. If I ever return to Hanoi, I would have no hesitation in booking the 'Allure' again.
